Pance is a small village along the Pance River, and is one of the main gateways to the Farallones National Park. The town’s proximity to the park and to the Cali Country Club make it an ideal location for birding where species such as Scaled Antpitta, the endemic Crested Ant-tanager, the near endemic Scrub Tanager, Collared Trogon, Immaculate Antbird, Flame-rumped Tanager, Golden Tanager, Blackish Rail, Andean Solitaire, Highland Motmot and the near endemic Bar-crested Antshrike.
